Normally as I create my carvings, I post regular updates on my social media to keep everyone up to date on the progress of all my work. Usually as a project comes close to completion, a collector will contact me and make purchase arrangements. However, the odd time I will complete a carving before it is sold…….those carvings get showcased on this page with all applicable information, as well as pricing. If you see a carving below you would like to add to your collection, contact me and we can discuss them further.
All carvings come complete with an artists package consisting of a signed and serial numbered COA, artist bio, and personalized write up of the carving sealed up with the Wolosiewicz Art wax seal.

“Rise From The Ashes”
This carving has quite a history on my bench. I started it two years ago, and had it mostly complete, But in a flurry of commissioned carves, and multiple projects later, it quickly became a filler that was worked on between jobs. The beautiful part of that is it gave me lots of time to consider how I was going to finish the background carve, and gave me plenty of time to solve the biggest challenge of the project…….how to carve a lava flow and bring it to life with colour.
What was originally going to be a lava flow with inlaid copper, ended up evolving into a full on lava flow with epoxy resin dyed an electric red, with ten red micro LED lights embedded into the resin.
This carve consists of two 1921 Silver Morgan Dollars as the host coins, and includes .925 Sterling Silver wire inlayed to provide the wing and tail extentions. The lava flow is dyed epoxy resin, with 10 micro LED lights inset in the bottom of the resin. This carve was almost 200 hours in the making and is wrapped up in a custom display case, featuring a pure copper base cover concealing the electronics within the base, along side a glass dome to finish the display and to keep the carving dust free.
This Heirloom quality carve also comes with the full documentation package, including an artist bio, personalized writeup of this project, COA, and official Wolosiewicz Art wax seal.

“Guardian of the Deep”
This carving started out as a pile of scrap metal…..literally. The octopus started its life as a pile of wire and pipe. I have a second hobby of scrapping out electronics, appliances, and anything else made of metal that I can put to use. Once scrapped, I melt down what I can into ingots to be used in my art and other projects. This octopus is the result from one of my copper rounds.
This carve turned out to be a very ambitious one. Most coin carvings stop at the coin, and are one sided. Not only did I decide to take it one step further with the addition of the octopus, but it was also carved in full 3D, presenting challenges not normally found with a coin carving. There were some areas EXTREMELY difficult to reach, especially when it came time to the final detailing.
The coin itself is carved from a 1921 silver Morgan dollar, and features the addition of several diamonds, a black Spinel, an emerald, a blue Sapphire, and a pearl. This coin acts as the base for the octopus.
The octopus rests on the top of the coin, but is fully removable. once removed it can act as a stand alone carving in itself.
When I started carving the octopus, my wife had the wonderful idea of making it removable from the coin, and turning it into a pendant. With some thought on how to achieve that, it is exactly what I did. The octopus is removable, and by lifting the chain on the top of his head, it allows the owner to slide a necklace through turning this into a wearable piece of art.
In turning this into a pendant, I needed to ensure it would look complete from all sides and angles, hence the reason it was fully carved 3D in the round. When not being worn, the chain lays neatly back on the top of the head forming part of the design, and the pendant can then be rested back on top of the coin to continue guiding its treasure.
I struggled with the texture on this. Normally I like my carves to be clean and smooth, but in this case I wanted him to look like he has gone through hell and back. I wanted him to be battle scarred and looking rough. It really tore at my OCD, but I think the texture of the plates on him sells it.
As stated, the octopus is made from a copper round I poured, and features three diamonds that were pulled from antique jewelry, as well as sterling silver hand formed coils.

“Lovecrafts Nightmare”
This carving has a lot of meaning behind it, and is a personal favorite of mine. I have looked up to Michael Whelan since I was young, to me one of his most iconic images was his rendition of lovecrafts nightmare. the image has stuck with me throughout the years, and I have found myself turning to it numerous times for inspiration. I decided to reach out to Michael seeking permission to recreate his iconic image, and to my surprise he granted permission.
The carving was created from a 1921 silver Morgan Dollar and two one ounce copper rounds. The tree was cut from the copper rounds, hollowed out, and two red micro LED lights installed. once carved, it was pinned to the silver morgan dollar, and silver inlays installed throughout the tree. The hill of skulls at the base of the tree are carved from silver and pinned in place. The corpse was carved from silver as well, then suspended from the tree using individual strands of cotton from a cotton ball to recreate the spiderweb.
The carving is mounted to a custom made wooden base and dome, all electronics are run down into the base and hidden from view. the switch for the lights is hidden on the custom made copper base plate under the base.
A true one of a kind, this carving has over 200 hours invested, and will not be reproduced in any way, shape, or form. It will remain a 1 of 1 carving.
