I love to explore the idea that everyday objects have a dark side, if you look close enough you will see it. What could come from it? What could exist? I love to carve what may scare you, What may make you uncomfortable. What may make you think of what you never thought of before.

“Lethal”

Created from 2-1921 silver Morgan Dollars. Inlayed with 24K gold and copper. Adorned with multiple watch pieces, and finished off with diamonds in the eyes that light up with the switch mounted in a custom made stand.

“Lovecrafts Nightmare”

Inspired from Michael Whelans original painting, this carving was created from a 1921 Silver Morgan Dollar, and a 1 ounce copper round. The carved human corpse hangs in the tree from the spiderweb made from individual fibers of a cotton ball. Complete with .999 fine silver inlays, this carving lights up when the switch is activated inside the custom made stand.

“No Hard Feelings”

Created from 2-1921 Silver Morgan Dollars, this was the first true 3D carving I completed. Consisting of 24K gold wire and real cotton stuffing in the doll, I also had the pleasure of working with Josh Ranger on this carve, as he completed the carving of the skulls on the pin heads. The carving lights up with the switch hidden in the custom made stand.

“Hard Wired”

Made from 2-1922 Silver Peace Dollars, this carve ended up being my first dual coin layered carve. Consisting of copper coils, electronic resistors, numerous watch gears, and Micro LED lights activated by the hidden switch in the custom made stand.
